A place to exhale and a safe space to explore

Our story

At Nourished Psychology, we provide compassionate, evidence-based psychological support for adolescents, adults, and mothers navigating life’s more overwhelming seasons. Our approach is warm, neuroaffirming, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, helping clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful change.

We offer psychology services in Brisbane and via telehealth across Australia, supporting clients with anxiety, burnout, emotional overwhelm, ADHD, motherhood and perinatal mental health, teen wellbeing, disordered eating, and body image concerns.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your teenager, or your family, therapy at Nourished Psychology aims to create a safe and collaborative space where healing, self-understanding, and growth can occur at your own pace.

Our Services Include

Maternal Mental Health

Support for women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity changes, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, birth trauma, and the mental load of motherhood. We provide compassionate maternal mental health support focused on helping mothers feel more supported, regulated, and connected to themselves.

Disordered Eating & Body Image Support

Compassionate, non-judgemental support for individuals struggling with body image concerns, restrictive eating, binge eating, emotional eating, or difficult relationships with food and their body. Our approach is weight-inclusive, gentle, and focused on fostering self-understanding and body neutrality.

Teen Therapy

Therapy for adolescents experiencing anxiety, emotional dysregulation, friendship difficulties, school stress, low self-esteem, identity concerns, neurodivergence, and life transitions. Sessions are tailored to support young people in feeling safe, heard, and understood.

Anxiety, Burnout & Emotional Overwhelm

Support for individuals experiencing chronic stress, perfectionism, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing, nervous system overwhelm, and difficulty coping with daily demands. Therapy focuses on building insight, self-compassion, emotional regulation, and sustainable wellbeing.

ADHD Assessments & Neuroaffirming Support

Comprehensive ADHD assessments for adolescents and adults aged 12+, alongside neuroaffirming psychological support for individuals exploring attention, executive functioning, emotional regulation, masking, burnout, and self-understanding.

Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk & Talk Therapy combines psychological support with gentle movement in a calm outdoor environment, creating a more relaxed and natural therapeutic experience. For many individuals, walking side-by-side can reduce the intensity that sometimes comes with face-to-face conversations, helping clients feel more at ease discussing difficult emotions, anxiety, overwhelm, stress, burnout, or life transitions. The addition of movement and nature can also support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, mindfulness, and overall mental wellbeing.

Clinical Supervision for Psychologists & Provisional Psychologists

Nourished Psychology also provides professional supervision for psychologists and provisional psychologists seeking a supportive, reflective, and collaborative space for professional growth and development.

Supervision is offered with a warm, neuroaffirming, and compassionate approach, supporting clinicians in developing confidence, clinical skills, ethical decision-making, self-reflection, and sustainable practice. Particular areas of interest include maternal mental health, adolescent therapy, neurodivergence, anxiety, burnout, disordered eating, and emotionally attuned therapeutic care.

Clinical supervision may support:

  • Provisional psychologists completing placement or registrar requirements

  • Early career psychologists building confidence and clinical identity

  • Case formulation and intervention planning

  • Neuroaffirming and trauma-informed practice

  • Managing burnout and clinician wellbeing

  • Reflective practice and professional development

  • Navigating complex presentations and ethical considerations

Supervision sessions aim to create a safe and encouraging environment where clinicians feel supported both professionally and personally, recognising the importance of reflective and sustainable practice within the mental health profession.

Supervision is available in Brisbane and online across Australia for psychologists and provisional psychologists seeking compassionate and collaborative professional support.
